The CUMBRIA Armed Forces community will benefit from a free bus trip this weekend for Armed Forces Day 2022.
Stagecoach Cumbria and Lancashire will support Armed Forces Day 2022 on June 25 and 26 by providing free travel to customers with military backgrounds.
Nationally, Armed Forces Day is an opportunity for the public to show their support for the men and women who make up the Armed Forces community: from troops currently serving to serving families, veterans and cadets.
Armed forces personnel wearing their uniforms with military IDs and veterans wearing veteran’s badges or medals will be entitled to ride any Stagecoach bus free of charge in support of the men and women who make up the Armed Forces community – it is hoped that Forces personnel will use the service to attend the many events planned in the region.
