“Nutritious diet”
According to the mirror, a spokesperson for the Department of Defense (MoD) said: “A healthy life in the armed forces is of vital importance and we encourage a nutritious diet.

Jack Burns, who previously trained as a volunteer firefighter before applying for the Navy, said he was “very disappointed” that the NZDF could not respond to him.
“I found it quite strange that they didn’t examine my personality or my skills. They just watched what I ate, ”Burns said. Newshub.
“I have a lot more energy, I am fit and strong… I am fit and healthy and it is proven by academic literature and vegan athletes that someone can not only be healthy with a vegan diet, but can thrive. “
